Minnie Nepote
CLINTON – Minnie Nepote, 98, handed away June 3, 2021, at Clinton Gardens.
She was born in Clinton, IN July 9, 1922 to Ernesto and Domenica Giovanini Fossi, both equally Italian immigrants. Acquiring missing her mother as an toddler, Minnie, the youngest of thirteen young children, grew up in Clinton with her father, who coal mined the hills powering the family members residence while elevating food items for the family members on the land as nicely.
She had different work about the years, but her major part was that of a loving and caring spouse, mom, grandmother, good-grandmother, and great-fantastic-grandmother. Minnie is survived by her daughter Rose Johnson (Chuck, deceased), and son Domenic Nepote, Jr. (Terri). She is also survived by grandchildren Chas Johnson (Nancy), Vicky Riggen (Randy), Gina Metheny (Mark), Lisa Quraish (Komail), and Domenic “Nick” Nepote III (Lacey). She is also survived by excellent-grandchildren Alexandra Johnson (Jordan), Carlie Johnson (Ethan), Brandon Johnson, Jerimiah Riggen (Vanessa), Dwight Riggen (Nicole), Gretchen Riggen (Daniel), Nora and Tate Metheny, Noah and Mehdi Quraish, and Leila and Raegan Nepote, and wonderful-wonderful-grandchildren Addison, Cora, Walker, Wyatt and Abram Riggen. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Giovanini Funeral House, 408 Vine Road, Clinton, IN on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with memorial company to comply with at 1:00 pm. Graveside support will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park following the company.
