Orleans Parish District Legal professional Jason Williams claimed his workplace will not prosecute abortion suppliers. Moreover, the New Orleans Law enforcement Office and the Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Workplace said they will not arrest or examine providers.

The decision by officials to not implement abortion legislation displays moves found in other cities in states with restrictive laws. The Austin City Council passed a measure Thursday that decriminalizes abortion inside town limits even even though it is properly banned in Texas.
