Here are all the food trucks coming to Kingston, Hanover this summer

KINGSTON – Waffles, beer and live music will come together at the Hilltop Athletic Association in Kingston for the return of weekly food truck festivals on Wednesday, April 13.
From 4 to 8 p.m. every Wednesday through the end of October, food trucks will gather at 65 Pottle St. to sell snacks, entrees and drinks to people looking to get outside and support small businesses.
Katie Keefe, the president of the South Shore Food Truck Association and owner of the Ellie’s Treats ice cream truck, said visitors can expect to see about 10 food trucks, a full cash bar and live music. The association will provide play space and toys for children.
“It will be a perfect space for a picnic,” Keefe said.
Gracie Grace & All The Goodboys will perform on opening night, April 13. A full schedule of music and other events is on the South Shore Food Truck Association’s Facebook page.
Food Truck Tuesday will return for the fifth year to Forge Pond Park in Hanover each week from 4 to 7 p.m. starting May 3. Keefe estimated 700 to 2,000 visitors will attend each night.
“It’s a huge boost for small businesses,” she said.
Away Cafe
What: Away Cafe’s custom-built Freightliner has been serving food on the South Shore and beyond since 2007. The truck provides signature Thai food and American favorites, including sausage, burgers and fried dough.

Ellie’s Treats
What: Weymouth residents Daniel and Katie Keefe named their food truck after their daughter Ellie. They sell ice cream quarts for $6 each and 12-ounce slushes for $3, as well as other sweet treats such as sundaes and cotton candy.
When: Tuesdays in Hanover and Wednesdays in Kingston.
Gonzalez
What: Taunton residents Maryanna Paiva and Wanderson Gonzalez serve fresh Mexican food, such as veggie tacos for $8, chips and guacamole for $11 and the loaded Gonzalez burrito for $14.
When: Tuesdays in Hanover and Wednesdays in Kingston.
Joe’s Eats & Treats
What: Avon residents Joe Donahue and Linda Anne serve American-style comfort food from their food truck, including hot sub sandwiches such as the classic meatball with provolone, and steak and cheese with peppers and onions.
When: Wednesdays in Kingston.
Loco Larry’s Tacos
What: Established in Halifax in 2020, Loco Larry’s Tacos was a dream come true for owner Larry, who was forced to close his auto detailing business in Boston amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The taco truck has a full menu of Mexican fare including burritos, quesadillas, nachos and churros that range in price from $3 to $15.

Lolly Jolly Waffles
What: Lolly Jolly Waffles is a family-owned and -operated food truck that puts a modern spin on old-fashioned waffles. Its menu includes waffles with toppings such as pulled pork, fried chicken, ice cream and apple pie filling.
When: Tuesdays in Hanover and Wednesdays in Kingston.
Mama Deb’s
What: Deb Doyle founded Mama Deb’s in April 2018 when her Sweet Italian Sauce (also called Wicked Awesome Sauce) was bottled for retail sales. Her food truck started rolling two years later and is known for its Italian food, including pasta.
When: Tuesdays in Hanover and Wednesdays in Kingston.
Mom on the Go
What: Hanover resident June Somers launched the Mom on the Go food truck five years ago to serve gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and milkshakes. Items include a meatball grilled cheese and a short rib grilled cheese, and sandwiches range in price from $6 to $10.
When: Tuesdays in Hanover and Wednesdays in Kingston.
Moyzilla
What: Johnathan Moy launched the Moyzilla food truck in April 2014 to serve creative Asian street foods including a dumpling box, rice, spring rolls and more. Specials include pork dumplings and Japanese fried chicken.
When: Tuesdays in Hanover and Wednesdays in Kingston.
Rockin’ Burgers
What: Rockin’ Burgers is an Abington-based food truck providing burgers, fried chicken and other American favorites

Smiles by the Mile
What: Quincy resident Sally Hughes founded Smiles by the Mile Ice Cream in 2019. She serves classic ice cream novelties such as Bomb Pops, Strawberry Shortcakes, chocolate eclairs and more.
When: Tuesdays in Hanover.
South Shore Taco Guy
What: Clint Smith, of Hull, runs the South Shore Taco Guy truck, which brings Mexican flavors from Southern California. His truck serves tacos, burritos, bowls and salads from $5 to $15.
When: Tuesdays in Hanover and Wednesdays in Kingston.
Sweetie’s Shaved Ice
What: A pair of Hanover residents established the Sweetie’s Shaved Ice stand in 2021, offering a wide range of flavored snow cones for $5 each, including Bahama mama, blue bubble gum, pina colada and more.
When: Tuesdays in Hanover.
Sweet 16
What: The Sweet 16 ice cream truck sells Blue Bunny ice cream, novelty ice pops and Italian ice for between $3 and $5.
When: Tuesdays in Hanover.
Thyme Traveling
What: Longtime chef Michael Kelly and his wife, Amber, use the Thyme Traveling truck to serve scratch-made food that is “fun, fresh and always full of bold flavors.” Items include arancini, tacos, spring rolls, sandwiches, salads and more.
When: Tuesdays in Hanover and Wednesdays in Kingston.
Wanderlust
What: Wanderlust is a family-run food truck based in Randolph with a global menu that includes Korean hot wings for $13 and Danish hot dogs for $8.
When: Wednesdays in Kingston.
Wicked Fire Pizza
What: Joshua Lowden started Wicked Fire Pizza on Cape Cod during the pandemic, and now travels to provide 12-inch pizzas with a variety of toppings, including The KJ with house-made Nashville hot chicken, hot oil drizzle and shredded mozzarella; and the Day Drinker, a pizza with house-made vodka sauce, mozzarella and pecorino Romano.
