Acer’s subsidiary Acer Gadget and Startbit have jointly set up Jcard 2., a NFT (non-fungible token) system for listing and transaction of vogue, entertainment goods/services and arts, in accordance to Acer Gadget president Allen Jong.
For Jcard 2., Acer Gadget and Startbit have enlisted vogue and enjoyment brokerage assistance company Catwalk Output Residence, Taiwan Academy of Good Arts and Tokyo Chuo MuChunTang Auction.
The platform is meant to improve application of metaverse, which will want cross-domain means, internationalization and globalization, cooperation amongst governing administration agencies, industries and academic organizations, Jong mentioned.
Remaining a startup founded in 2017, Startbit specializes in establishing computer software courses for enterprises’ blockchain purposes. Startbit was invested by Taiwan’s Nationwide Development Basis in July 2019 and by Acer in February 2022.
